Wedding Cermonies, Document Notarizing

Hello and Welcome to my Web Page. I am a native Floridian and have resided in Palatka, Fl for 14 years. I have been a notary for over 20 years. Planning on getting married I can do that. Need documents notarized just let me know. There are many documents we all put off, but we shouldn't and with the new year around the corner put this on your list of resolutions.

Is your resolution to get married? If so,let me know. I have performed 16 Wedding Cermonies. I cannot however help you find your soulmate. Once you get married you will start accumlating assets. These assets will accumlate into many years of valuables.

Do you have an itemized list of the assets of your house? This list should contain all valuables and their serial numbers, their value and who you would bequest the assets to in your demise . This list is also important in case your valuables are stolen. The list would provide traceability if the item was recovered. With this past year and the hurricanes we were fortunate in Palatka, just think how valuable a list would be for insurance purposes if we would not have been so lucky. I know we don't like to think about this however, we can loose our assets through theft, fire or hurricanes and we can also die.

After one's death a personal will states how property and assets should be distrtbuted . Combine your assets list with your personal will. We have all heard of the horror stories of how family's become greedy and end up never speaking to each other again, because the deceased had not taken the time to make a will. You will save your family alot of grief and it also keeps the assets from being held up in court and the state taking most of your hard earned savings, insurance and treasures. After preparing your personal will it is best to see an attorney. You also, need to be protected if you become incapacitated.

A Durable Power of Attorney is prepared by an individual granting power to another person to make financial decisions on the individual's behalf should the individual become incapacitated. If you do become incapacitated who do you want to decide when to hang on to you and when to let go?

Do you have a Florida Living Will, which informs physicians, family and the state of an individual's desire not to be kept alive by extraordinary means. A living will is the only way of ensuring a situation does not occur that may cause undue hardship and financial stress on all concerned. A Living will is not an extension of a personal will.

Speaking of personal, there are many documents we never think of having, but they can save you alot of grief and frustration. For example, are you planning to go out of town and having a relative or neighbor watch your child, animals or house? Why not leave them a notarized document giving them permission in your absence to make medical decisions on your behalf. What about a busted water pipe? Wouldn't you want them to be able to make that repair on your behalf or would you like your house to be flooded when you return

Thanks again for visting my website and email me if I can be of any assistance.
